Mycotoxin Binder.

Bio-Sorb Plus has a unique combination of bio-active components to bind a wide range of mycotoxins together with specific sugar molecules derived from algae/seaweed which all contribute to binding a wide range of mycotoxins. It also contains specific poly-saccharides together with saccharomyces cerevisiae (live) to help protect gut wall and improve the immune system which is often compromised by the effect of mycotoxins. The large surface area of the gluco-mannans allow it to absorb high concentrations of mycotoxins preventing their passage through the gut wall.

Using this combination of bio-active components helps to give the widest possible spectrum of mycotoxin control, restricting their passage into the blood stream and preventing those unwanted symptoms.

Mycotoxins are produced by moulds and fungi which are found in many feeds and field crops. Just because moulds are not visible does not mean mycotoxins are not present.
The trend to higher dry matter forages (grass Whole-crops and maize) and the feeding of by-products (bread, biscuit meal, distillers by-products etc) have all increased the likelihood of mycotoxin contamination due to growth of moulds and fungi. The addition of water to TMRs will also increase the rise of Mycotoxins.

Feeding Instructions

• Bio-sorb PLUS should be fed for the first 7 – 10 days @ 100g per cow per day, reducing to 50g per cow per day thereafter.
• Suitable for TMR or sprinkling on top of daily ration
• Exceptional conditions may require a higher inclusion rate.
• Each 25Kg bag will feed 500 cows for 1 day at normal rate
