Mixers & Buckets

Manual feeding in buckets or teat feeders can often be the best option made easier and more accurate with a mixer.

New ways to feed buckets

In 2005, Holm & Laue revolutionized bucket feeding with the invention of the Milk Taxi. Since then, bucket carrying has become a thing of the past and each calf gets optimally mixed milk at the right temperature. Today, helpful extras such as the electric drive, the radio-controlled dosing pump, the possibility of pasteurizing and cooling, the hot water heating up to the turning probe for cows make the Milk Taxi an indispensable tool on the modern dairy farm.

In the latest generation 4.0, bucket feeding is once again being revolutionized.

The Milk Taxi now also enables reliable mixing and dispensing depending on the calf`s age, which was previously only possible with computerised feeding machines. It recognizes every pen and calculates the currently correct amount of milk for the calf. Thus, the Milk Taxi also knows the amount of milk required for the next feeding and leads step by step to the right mixture, This eliminates errors or negligence. All feeding data can be stored permanently and retrieved via tablet or PC at any time. In this way, errors in feeding can be localized and corrected immediately.
