Liqtec Formulated liquid feeds
The
LIQ-TEC range of liquid feeds from Britmilk is formulated to supply the ideal
combination of protein, energy minerals and vitamins.
Offered
on a free access basis the intakes of these liquids are regulated by the
individual animal to match the other ingredients of the diet.
We
have a Liquid feed to suit most ruminant livestock systems. There is overlap in
the application of some of the liquids which is a mark of their flexibility.
Liquid
Feeds for cattle
Premium Mag
Contains
3.5 % magnesium in a very readily available form which is absorbed into the
system very quickly. A version without copper - Multi-Mag
-
is available to suit situations where sheep graze alongside cattle. Both
versions contain protected selenium and zinc trace elements; some of the copper in
Premium
Mag is also protected.
Super
Suckler
This suckler cow liquid feed is
designed for the modern suckler cow capable of producing high birth weight
calves and good milk yield. This liquid contains 3% magnesium. It is also provided with good trace element levels including
protected Selenium, Zinc and Copper.
Bloom 28 & Bloom 38
Both
these liquids contain generous levels of trace elements and are designed for
cattle on a variety of fodders. On poorer diets based on straw or lower quality
hay then Bloom 38 would
be the best option. Diets based on silage or better hay would be best balanced
with Bloom 28.
Both these liquids can have the added benefit of Flavomycin or Yeast added to
improve the performance of the diet.
eXeL
Dry Cow
This is specifically aimed
at the dry cow period. It is formulated to supply generous levels of trace
elements some in chelated forms together with an elevated level of magnesium.
Pro
44
Designed to add to diet feeders this
liquid supplies a high level of RDP together with a high FME level. This makes
it an ideal addition to diets low in RDP such as whole-crop or maize silages or
poorly fermented low CP grass silages.
Liquid
Feeds for Sheep
Tup Supreme
With
high levels of chelated zinc and selenium and high vitamin levels this liquid is
the perfect boost to ewes at tupping time to supplement the energy deficiency
often found in late summer/autumn. This liquid because of its high energy and
low protein content is an excellent aid to lamb finishing.
Super
sheep 16
This is a 16% protein liquid
with protected trace elements and high Vit E levels ideal for smaller ewes or
ewes not expecting a large crop of lambs. This is available with added yeast to
improve digestion. Super Sheep 16
can be formulated with MPG a source of protected energy which works directly in
the liver to mobilize back fat in the later stages of
pregnancy.
Super Sheep 20
With
the same trace elements and vitamin levels as the Super
Sheep 16 this liquid feed is aimed at the
larger more prolific ewe or the ewe on poorer diets. Super
Sheep 20 has some MPG as standard but as
in the Super Sheep 16
more can be added nearer lambing to increase energy availability.

Liquid feeders designed to hold 250 litres of liquid feeds
enough to supply 50/60 cattle or 200 sheep. Very robust feeders easily moved
using integrated lift hook. Easy cleaned and filled to make the feeding of Liqtec liquid feeds
very
manageable.
